Ram Shines with Silver at Paris 2024 Olympic Games

PARIS - Rajeev Ram is a two-time Olympic Silver Medalist after an extraordinary run at the 2024 Olympic games in Paris.

No. 4 seeds Ram and Austin Krajicek fell in a tiebreaker to Australia’s Matthew Ebden and John Peers, 7-6(6), 6-7(1), [10-8]. Ram, competing in his third straight Olympics representing Team USA, won Silver alongside former World No. 1 Venus Williams at the 2016 Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro.

“Man does that one hurt... there's nothing in sport like representing your country and I don't take that opportunity for granted, but it also intensifies the pain when you come up a little short,” Ram shared on Instagram. “Congrats to my partner on his first medal, to the Aussies on a well earned win, and it was an honor to share the podium with my teammates. Proud to bring back hardware for the United States.”

“We are thrilled to celebrate Rajeev’s remarkable achievement at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games,” said Foundation Board Chair Jennifer Reinbold. “Rajeev's success extends beyond his athletic prowess; it embodies the values of perseverance, teamwork, and sportsmanship that our foundation strives to promote. His commitment to the sport and his ability to overcome challenges inspire us all. We congratulate Rajeev on his outstanding accomplishment and are proud to support a true champion who continues to inspire future generations.”
